Applam Fruit Products Company was based in Norton Fitzwarren, Somerset, UK.[1] The company was part of the Pomosin group. The company was controlled by Otto Frank and the Nederlandsche Opekta Mij.[2] Applam's partners decided to dissolve it on 17 March 1934 .[1] A restart failed because the owner of the buildings and machinery wanted to conclude a lease for too long a period.[3] On 4 November 1935, Thomas Kefford was appointed liquidator.[4]
