    "description": "<p>Few sources are available about Fritz Pfeffer&#39;s studies. What is known is that he studied medicine and dentistry in W&uuml;rzburg and Berlin. In the winter semester <strong>1908-1909</strong> to summer semester <strong>1909</strong>, and then summer semester <strong>1910</strong> to summer semester <strong>1911</strong>, he studied &#39;Medizin&#39; at the University of W&uuml;rzburg.<sup data-footnote-id=\"x3tjl\"><a href=\"#footnote-1\" id=\"footnote-marker-1-1\" rel=\"footnote\">[1]</a></sup> In later semesters, his younger brother Ernst Pfeffer also studied &#39;Medizin&#39; in W&uuml;rzburg.<sup data-footnote-id=\"xkp0r\"><a href=\"#footnote-2\" id=\"footnote-marker-2-1\" rel=\"footnote\">[2]</a></sup> During the two periods he attended W&uuml;rzburg University, Pfeffer lived at the following addresses:</p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Pleichertorstra&szlig;e 12</li>\r\n\t<li>Gerberstra&szlig;e 19</li>\r\n\t<li>Sternga&szlig;e 7.<sup data-footnote-id=\"xkp0r\"><a href=\"#footnote-2\" id=\"footnote-marker-2-2\" rel=\"footnote\">[2]</a></sup></li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<p>Fritz Pfeffer wass a member of the <em>Akademisch-wissenschaftlichen Verbindung Veda</em> during his studies in W&uuml;rzburg.<sup data-footnote-id=\"c7z8x\"><a href=\"#footnote-3\" id=\"footnote-marker-3-1\" rel=\"footnote\">[3]</a></sup> This was the only one of the many W&uuml;rzburg societies<em> (Burschenschaften</em>) open to all religions, including Jews.<sup data-footnote-id=\"9f77k\"><a href=\"#footnote-4\" id=\"footnote-marker-4-1\" rel=\"footnote\">[4]</a></sup></p>\r\n\r\n<p>He graduated in <strong>1911 </strong>and then worked as an assistant for some time. Clear dating of the study period in Berlin is not possible based on the available sources. In Berlin, he practised from <strong>October 1912</strong>.
