He told Jopie that they were for a sister of Bep Voskuijl.<sup data-footnote-id=\"xyg5s\"><a href=\"#footnote-5\" id=\"footnote-marker-5-1\" rel=\"footnote\">[5]</a></sup></p>\r\n\r\n<p>Mrs Kleiman occasionally visited the Secret Annex and told her that Jopie was on a hockey team with Jacqueline van Maarsen.<sup data-footnote-id=\"ukav0\"><a href=\"#footnote-6\" id=\"footnote-marker-6-1\" rel=\"footnote\">[6]</a></sup> These stories made Anne all the more aware of her own limitations: "<em>(...) and 'in the depths of despair' when, for example, Mrs. Kleiman comes by and talks about Jopie's hockey club, canoe trips, school plays and afternoon teas with friends. I don't think I'm jealous of Jopie, but I long to have a really good time for once and to laugh so hard it hurts.</em><em>"</em><sup data-footnote-id=\"f83bk\"><a href=\"#footnote-7\" id=\"footnote-marker-7-1\" rel=\"footnote\">[7]</a></sup></p>\r\n\r\n<p>Anne simply called Jopie Keiman Jopie in the A and B versions. In the C version, Otto Frank continued Anne's pseudonym habit.
