Günter Goldschmidt goes into hiding using an assumed name

Günter Goldschmidt was a cousin of Peter van Pels. Using a very good fake identity card, he registered in the municipality of Bakel-Milheeze in the province of North Brabant. Next to his regular job, he became active in the resistance movement in the southern Netherlands and the Gooi region until the liberation of the Netherlands in May 1945.
