Johan Voskuijl and Christina Sodenkamp were married on 20 February 1919 in Amsterdam. The parents agreed to the marriage and the witnesses were two brothers-in-law.[1] Their first child was born four and a half months later. Eventually they had eight children, all but one born in Amsterdam. The dates of birth of the youngest are not given for reasons of privacy.
