Metz family in Frankfurt
The Metz family lived at the time of their emigration at the address Unter den Eichen 12.
The family had occupied this address from 1930.[1] Before that they had lived at Schwindstrasse 18 since 1922.[2] Theodor Metz had been the official secretary of the Dutch Chamber of Commerce for Germany since the early 1920s. From 1927 he was also a supervisory director at the Centrale Maatschappij voor Handel en Industrie, a company in which Jo Kleiman and some members of Otto Frank's family also participated.[3]
