Theresienstadt concentration camp
Theresienstadt (German) or Terezín (Czech) was the Czech fortress town of Theresienstadt, which was turned into a concentration camp and ghetto during World War II.
Theresienstadt concentration camp was mainly a transit camp for Jews who were usually soon shipped on to Auschwitz-Birkenau or other death camps.[1]
