Johan Voskuijl - work at Griethuijsen & Koch, N.V., Houthandel en Meubelindustrie v/h Van

Johan Voskuijl worked as a correspondent at Griethuijsen & Koch, N.V., Houthandel en Meubelindustrie v/h Van.

Houthandel en Meubelindustrie Griethuijsen & Koch was located at Oostenburgergracht 71-81, Amsterdam.[1] Johan Voskuijl worked here as a correspondent from 1908 until about September 1917. His employer was satisfied with him, but the conditions at the time necessitated reorganisation. Thus, his position was abolished.[2]

Around the same time, the shareholders' meeting set the company's dividend at five per cent a year.[3] In 1918, the firm Van Griethuijsen & Koch bought up an already existing furniture factory in Rhenen.[4] Whether this was related to the intended reorganisation and the disappearance of Voskuijl's position is not known.
