Applam Fruit Products Company was based in Norton Fitzwarren, Somerset, UK.[1] The company was part of the Pomosin group. The company was controlled by Otto Frank and the Nederlandsche Opekta Mij.[2] Applam's partners decided to dissolve it on 17 March 1934 .[3] A restart failed because the owner of the buildings and machinery wanted to conclude a lease for too long a period.[4] On 4 November 1935, Thomas Kefford was appointed liquidator.[5]

Otto Frank had many appointments with Kefford in 1937. On 2 December 1937, he travelled to Bristol and Taunton, where the Applam factory was located.[6] On 10 March 1954, there was a meeting to account for the liquidation. At the bottom of the announcement was Kefford's name.[7]
