George VI of the United Kingdom

George VI was King of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

George VI was the second son of King George V. After his brother Edward had to give up the British throne, George became king in 1936.[1] The period of his reign covered the Second World War and the period of decline of the British Empire.[2]
