Cornelis Kleiman (1892)
Cornelis Kleiman was an older brother of Johannes Kleiman.
Cornelis Kleiman was an older brother of Johannes and Willy Kleiman. He was a model maker and work supervisor.[1] He made models for castings at the Verschure shipyard in Amsterdam-North.[2] As the eldest son he had to do military service. At the inspection he was found to be 1682 mm in height. Then furniture maker was listed as his occupation. On 24 September 1912, he was assigned to the 10th Infantry Regiment.[3]
Anne's diary tells of the Fokker bombings.[4] The family of Kleiman's brother lived barely a kilometre away. The family was unharmed.
