Ilse Windesheim lived with the Frank family for a few months as a servant.

Ilse Windesheim was a servant and lived with the Frank family for a few months in 1934. After coming to the Netherlands from Germany, she first lived for a few weeks with her uncle and aunt Nathan Bierman and Paula Bierman-Windesheim on Korte Meerhuizenstraat in Amsterdam. On 30 June 1934 her registration was transferred to the address of the Frank family at Merwedeplein 37-II. A few months later she moved back to Eberswerdewalde.[1]

She gave birth to her son Peter in the Israelite Hospital in Frankfurt am Main on 18 October 1936.[2] From 29 October 1936 to 18 November 1937, she lived in Neu-Isenheim in Isenburg, a house for unmarried mothers. She gave up her son for adoption and went to work in an old people's home in Würzburg. She later emigrated to Argentina and ended up in Uruguay.
