    "content": "<p>Hendrika Scholten was the wife of greengrocer Henk&nbsp;van Hoeve, whom she had married on <strong>1 September 1937</strong>.<sup data-footnote-id=\"toxn5\"><a href=\"#footnote-1\" id=\"footnote-marker-1-1\" rel=\"footnote\">[1]</a></sup>&nbsp;After the arrest of her husband and the two people they had been hiding (Richard and Ruth Weisz) on <strong>25 May 1944</strong>, she continued the business. In <strong>July 1944</strong>, she delivered nine kilos of peas to the people in hiding in the Secret Annex.<sup data-footnote-id=\"sr82v\"><a href=\"#footnote-2\" id=\"footnote-marker-2-1\" rel=\"footnote\">[2]</a></sup></p>\r\n\r\n<p>After the arrest of her husband and the people in hiding, she received two more letters (on Westerbork paper) from Richard Weisz, in which the couple asked her to send clothing that had been left behind.
