"content": "<p>In <strong>1912</strong>, Aäron Keesing was the first in the family to marry a non-Jewish spouse. This caused some commotion within the family.<sup data-footnote-id=\"d400p\"><a href=\"#footnote-1\" id=\"footnote-marker-1-1\" rel=\"footnote\">[1]</a></sup></p>\r\n\r\n<p>Keesing had a permanent contract with the municipality and taught at the 1st HBS with a five-year course. He also taught at the Handelsschool (on Raamplein). When he had to give details of his Jewish grandparents because of school segregation, he stated that there were 'probably' more than two. He was not more specific because they had all died before he was born. "content_nl": "<p>Aäron Keesing was in <strong>1912 </strong>de eerste in zijn familie die een niet-Joodse huwelijkspartner trouwde. Dat zorgde binnen de familie voor enig rumoer.<sup data-footnote-id=\"d400p\"><a href=\"#footnote-1\" id=\"footnote-marker-1-1\" rel=\"footnote\">[1]</a></sup></p>\r\n\r\n<p>Keesing had een vast dienstverband bij de gemeente en gaf les op de 1e HBS met Vijfjarige cursus. Daarnaast gaf hij les aan de Handelsschool (aan het Raamplein). Toen hij in verband met de schoolsegregatie opgave van zijn Joodse grootouders moest doen, vulde hij in dat dit er "vermoedelijk" meer dan twee waren. Hij was niet specifieker omdat zij allen voor zijn geboorte overleden waren.
