Aufbau was a German-language emigré magazine.

German-language emigré magazine. The first issue appeared on 1 December 1934, edited by Edward W. Jelenko.[1]

After Rosa Holländer-Stern's death, her children Walter, Julius and Edith, along with son-in-law Otto Frank, placed an advertisement in the magazine.[2]

In the late summer of 1945, the magazine featured a "Suchanzeige" for Anne and Margot Frank. This had been placed by Arthur May, an in-law relative of Otto Frank. On the same page was a similar advertisement for the Leyens family.[3]

On 16 April 1948, the magazine featured a review of The Secret Annex by Kurt Lubinski, who called for a German translation to be made quickly.[4]
