Johannes Kleiman worked for publishing company Abraham Horodisch. Abraham Horodisch established an office in Amsterdam on 10 October 1924 at the address Keizersgracht 604. Johannes Kleiman was his proxy, but due to restrictive provisions only for banking matters and mail.[1]

On 24 January 1925, the business moved to Singel 305, Amsterdam. Kleiman's power of attorney was then revoked. The business was officially dissolved on 14 June 1932 by the Chamber of Commerce.
