From 4 September 1928, Utrecht pastry chef and lunchroom owner Frans van Angeren attached an import firm to his 'American Lunchroom'. The object of this firm was "Sales of products of Pomosin Werke at Frankfurt a/Main (jelly fruit extract)". From 10 January 1935, the company was renamed Pomosin Import.[1] Pomosin Import worked mainly on the industrial market. The company did business with Sangostop, among others.[2]

Initially, the address was Achter Clarenburg 13, Utrecht.[3] It later moved to nearby Lange Viestraat 14.[4] As of 10 January 1946, the business address was moved to Van Angeren's home in De Bilt. Closure followed on 1 January 1959.[1]
