She worked in the business of her father and brother.<sup data-footnote-id=\"k0xg5\"><a href=\"#footnote-1\" id=\"footnote-marker-1-1\" rel=\"footnote\">[1]</a></sup> After Kristallnacht she moved to Bloemendaal, on the border of Aerdenhout and Bentveld, in <strong>December 1938</strong>. On <strong>9 November 1939</strong> she moved to Amsterdam, where she moved in with her sister Henny.
