On March 14, 1944, pianist Thelma van Breemen played in the Recital Hall of the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam.[1] Bep Voskuijl attended this concert and went back to the Concertgebouw the next day for a concert by the German singer, film and revue star Evelyn Künneke.[2]
